AIR SRUBBING TOWERS
ABOUT OUR AIR SCRUBBING TOWERS
The Spike “Countercurrent Spray Column Absorber” (or know as a wet gas scrubber), is designed to reduce volatile organic emissions to the atmosphere.
This scrubber utilizes the principles of diffusion, the process whereby particles of liquids and gases intermingle as the result of their spontaneous movement from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration. This concentration gradient allows pollutants such as benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylene to be readily absorbed by a solvent such as water.
CARBON CANISTER SYSTEMS
ABOUT OUR CARBON CANISTER SYSTEMS
A carbon canister system is a piece of equipment that absorbs gasses such as carbon dioxide (CO2). It can be used to treat exhaust gases from industrial plants. Carbon canister systems can also used be used in petrolum storage tanks.
The Spike Carbon System is an adsorption system designed for the removal of dissolved organic contaminants from air and/or liquids using granular activated carbon.
Our modular design concept allows the selection of options, additional accessories or alternate materials to best meet the requirements of the site and treatment application.
